Frequency

The frequency of a wave is determined by the number of complete waves, or wavelengths, that pass a given point each second. The colour RED has a frequency of around 430 trillion vibrations a second, whereas Violet has a much higher frequency, so each violet wave would pass a given point much quicker than the colour RED. All light travels at the same speed but each color has a different wavelength and frequency. Wave length

A wavelength is the distance between the same locations on adjacent waves. The same applies to light. The colour RED has a wavelength of around 700 nanometers long - one wave spans only 7 ten millionths of a meter! Whereas, Violet has a much shorter wavelength, so each violet wave would span a much shorter distance. Ingredients

• 4 large Del Monte® banana
• ¼ cup all purpose flour
• ¼ cup light brown sugar, firmly packet
• 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• ¼ cup unsalted butter, cut into little pieces

Direction
Preheat oven to 400° degrees. Slice bananas in 1/4 inch pieces. Place the bananas cut side down in individual serving prepared baking dishes. Place dry ingredients into a medium-mixing bowl. Add the butter to the dry ingredients until the mixture is crumbly. Spread the crumble mixture over the bananas in an even layer, pressing down slightly. Place the dish in the oven and bake about 10 to 10 to 15 minutes.

The history of Mother's Day is centuries old and goes back to the times of ancient Greeks, who held festivities to honor Rhea, the mother of the gods. The early Christians celebrated the Mother's festival on the fourth Sunday of Lent to honor Mary, the mother of Christ. Interestingly, later on a religious order stretched the holiday to include all mothers, and named it as the Mothering Sunday. The English colonists settled in America discontinued the tradition of Mothering Sunday because of lack of time. In 1872 Julia Ward Howe organized a day for mothers dedicated to peace. It is a landmark in the history of Mother's Day.In 1907, Anna M. Jarvis (1864-1948), a Philadelphia schoolteacher, began a movement to set up a national Mother's Day in honor of her mother, Ann Maria Reeves Jarvis. She solicited the help of hundreds of legislators and prominent businessmen to create a special day to honor mothers. The first Mother's Day observance was a church service honoring Anna's mother. Anna handed out her mother's favorite flowers, the white incarnations, on the occasion as they represent sweetness, purity, and patience. Anna's hard work finally paid off in the year 1914, when President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the second Sunday in May as a national holiday in honor of mothers. Slowly and gradually the Mother's day became very popular and gift giving activity increased. Apple Oatmeal Bake Recipe
Serving : 4

Ingredients

• 2 medium Del Monte® red delicious apples, peeled and cut into thin slices
• 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
• 2 tbsp. brown sugar
• ¼ cup water
• ¼ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
• 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• 2 tsp. cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Direction
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice and 1 tablespoon brown sugar. Spread apple slices along the bottom of a baking pan with slices overlapping. Top with 4 tablespoons water. Bake apples about 20 minutes until crisp. In the meantime, mix oats, cinnamon, salt, and 1 tablespoon brown sugar in bowl. Mix butter into oat mixture until evenly spread throughout mixture. Sprinkle oat mixture over apples and bake until topping is golden, 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand about 10 minutes and then serve and enjoy.

FINE ART

A cartoon (from the Italian "cartone" and Dutch word "karton", meaning strong, heavy paper or pasteboard) is a full-size drawing made on sturdy paper as a study or modello for a painting, stained glass or tapestry. Cartoons were typically used in the production of frescoes, to accurately link the component parts of the composition when painted on damp plaster over a series of days (giornate).

Marriaged women have lots of worries and believe it or not they carry out a more stressfull life than marriaged men.

Several times in my life I have heard commentaries about the lack of importance of women. I am personally against these kind of commentaries. In my life the most important person I remember is my mother. She is a professional also , but besides her profession , she always took good care of me. We can´t forget that all human beings come right from a woman. We can´t ignore that is a woman the one who has to live with her own life and also learn the right cares for rescent born babies in order to garantee our safety and the chance to survive.

At home the most important person is in most of the cases is the mother. She is the one that cares about the order , the matter and the health of all the family. But the worries she carry for us are not totally extrange. They care so much for us because believe it or not , we were part of her almost nine months and now , as we grow up we are the link that will give our parent´s gens the oportunity of living for another...
